Steak & Kimchi Ramen
I've been to every ramen spot in Utah and bunch of spots in Japan. Kuchu is the only spot comparable to authentic Japanese ramen. Since coming my first time I've been back 6 times.
Tonkotsu Ramen
I went to try the pho, but instead decided to get the tonkotsu ramen and was blown away. Usually ramen is too salty for me or the noodles are too crunchy, but that was not the case! the broth was perfectly flavorful and full to the brim with delicious toppings. the veggies were soft and so were the noodles! everything was so flavorful individually, especially the egg and pork! i will definitely return and would recommend. service was also great and fast!
Tonkotsu Ramen
THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! so so so so delicious!!!! The meat was so tender falls apart with the spoon!!! Broth was phenomenal!!! Best Ramen
Tuna Poke
My husband and I came in to try something new and we were blown away with the staff and the food at Kuchu Shabu! I had never tried a Japanese hot pot so Austin gave me the best instructions and recommendations! My husband had the poke bowl. Both were absolutely delicious and the staff at this location is remarkable.
Ribeye Pho
This was some of the best pho I've ever had. The owner was super helpful with recommendations. Going back again for lunch today.
Tonkotsu Ramen
Hands down the best ramen that I have had in SLC. This is the first ramen that I have had here that I would actually go back to order. The bowl was packed full of toppings which I appreciate as every bite was more than just noodles which lead to a more dynamic flavor profile. Each aspect, from the pork to the eggs, was full of flavor but not overwhelming. 10/10 would recommend.
Tuna Poke
Treat yourself to one of the most original poke bowls you've ever experienced! The original recipe from Hawaii fashioned by Austin, the owner, is a taste you will talk about until you are able to return. Simply grand! Great vibe. The sake selections are also worth the trip! We'll be back!

It was delicious! The hot pot experience was amazing. Mimi took great care of us. Can't wait to return next year!
